Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/05/2040 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daniel Magee (52(9) - 14) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Joseph Carrie(1 - 0) from Melbourne, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Magee steps inside.  Magee sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Magee lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Magee is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Magee lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.

Carrie throws a left hook, but Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Magee hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Magee lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Magee advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  Magee clinches his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Magee closes the distance and drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.

Magee is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  Magee clinches his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Magee hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Magee and breaks the clinch.  
Magee drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Magee lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Magee gets on the inside.  Magee sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a sharp right hook to Carrie's body.

Magee is on target with a solid cross.  Magee tries to land a right uppercut, but Carrie blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Magee steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Magee gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Magee is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Magee lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING CARRIE TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Magee!
