Gennady Mucashev vs Santiago Magro

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/05/2040 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gennady Mucashev (78(19) - 6) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Santiago Magro(5 - 5(1)) from Valencia, Spain.  

Round 1: 

Mucashev closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Mucashev forces Magro to back into the blue corner.  Mucashev lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Magro throws a left hook, but Mucashev clinches his opponent.  Mucashev is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mucashev about fouling.  
Magro sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mucashev attempts to land a jab, but Magro parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Magro is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mucashev lands with a hard jab.  
Mucashev lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Mucashev steps inside and manouvers Magro onto the ropes.  Mucashev sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mucashev lands two left uppercut's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Mucashev clinches his opponent.  Mucashev leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mucashev drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Mucashev lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mucashev hits home with a cross.  
Mucashev steps inside and connects with a stinging right hook.  Mucashev ties up his opponent.  Mucashev tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Magro behind the head. 
Mucashev advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mucashev is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Magro on the ropes.  Mucashev lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mucashev is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Mucashev drives a right hook into Magro's body.  
Mucashev lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Magro tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Magro attempts to land a jab, but Mucashev blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mucashev closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Mucashev holds on to his opponent.  Mucashev is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Magro is on target with a left hook.  
Magro steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Magro lands a solid jab.  
Mucashev advances into close range.  Mucashev sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Mucashev sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Mucashev lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND MAGRO IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Magro now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mucashev lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Magro recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mucashev walks Magro into the red corner.  Mucashev lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Mucashev holds on to his opponent.  Magro pushes his forearm into Mucashev's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Magro.  
Mucashev lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Magro recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mucashev lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Mucashev is on target with a solid cross.  
Mucashev is on target with a WICKED left hook.  DOWN GOES MAGRO!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT MAGRO IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Mucashev!
