Robert Wigen vs Aaron Flett

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/04/2040 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Wigen (51 - 5) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Aaron Flett(5 - 9) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Wigen is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Wigen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Flett lands a jab.  
Flett pivots from in front of his opponent.  Wigen attempts to land a jab, but Flett slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Wigen closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wigen lands a stinging jab.  
Flett finds the target with a jab.  
Wigen advances into close range.  Flett lands a right hook.

Flett manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Flett feints a cross, tricking Wigen into throwing a right uppercut counter.  Flett avoids the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Wigen is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Wigen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Wigen steps to the outside.  Wigen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Flett hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Flett gets on the inside.  Flett pivots to the side of his opponent.  Flett throws a left hook, but Wigen clinches his opponent.  Wigen pushes his forearm into Flett's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Wigen.  
Flett feints a jab, tricking Wigen into launching a right hook counter.  Flett avoids the shot and counters with a cross.  
Wigen tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Wigen is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Wigen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Wigen feints a cross, and then lands a jab, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.
