Augustijn Persins vs Hannes Lambrechts

Boxing Daily Report from the Netherlands National Finals 2040,  taking place on 14/04/2040 from The Hague, Netherlands:

The The Hague venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Augustijn Persins (4 - 14) who hails from Amsterdam, Netherlands and Hannes Lambrechts(13(6) - 8) from Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Persins uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lambrechts behind the head. The ref breaks Lambrechts's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Persins recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Lambrechts advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Lambrechts cuts off the ring, trapping Persins on the ropes.  Lambrechts is on target with a right hook to Persins's ribcage.  
Lambrechts digs in a firm right uppercut to Persins's body.  PERSINS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Persins quickly recovers.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Persins's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Lambrechts sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lambrechts lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Lambrechts tries to land a right hook, but Persins slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  Persins almost instantly recovers.
