Fresco Abella vs Neper Prudencio

Boxing Daily Report from the Honduras National Finals 2040,  taking place on 01/04/2040 from Tegucigalpa, Honduras:

The Tegucigalpa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fresco Abella (10 - 13(1)) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Neper Prudencio(22(2) - 24(1)) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  

Round 1: 

Prudencio gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Abella switches the action to the outside.  Prudencio lands a jab.  
Abella hits home with a solid cross.  
Prudencio is on target with a jab.  
Prudencio steps inside and drives a right hook into Abella's body.  
Prudencio is looking to close the distance.  Prudencio quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abella lands a left hook.  Prudencio clinches his opponent.  Abella is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Abella switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Prudencio lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Prudencio ties up his opponent.  Prudencio tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Abella behind the head. Abella is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Abella and breaks the clinch.  
Abella throws a right hook, but Prudencio holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Prudencio's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Prudencio is on target with a sharp right hook.  Prudencio throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Prudencio drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Abella throws a left hook, but Prudencio ties up his opponent.  Abella tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Prudencio's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Abella to stop fouling.  
Prudencio lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Prudencio drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  Prudencio holds on to his opponent.  Prudencio leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Prudencio lands a sharp right hook.  
Prudencio lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Abella throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid cross.

Round 2: 

Prudencio lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head, AND SENDS ABELLA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Prudencio is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Prudencio lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, KNOCKING ABELLA DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Abella now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Abella switches the action to the outside.  Abella sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Prudencio is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Prudencio holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Prudencio pushes his forearm into Abella's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Prudencio to stop fouling.  
Prudencio lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Abella tries to keep the action at long range.  Prudencio attempts to land an overhand left, but Abella sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Abella sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Abella digs in a sharp right hook to Prudencio's body.  
Abella lands with a stinging jab.  
Prudencio is on target with a left hook.  
Prudencio lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Prudencio ties up his opponent.  Abella is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Prudencio pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Abella quickly recovers. 
Prudencio lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, AND DOWN GOES ABELLA!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Abella can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Prudencio!
