Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2040,  taking place on 29/03/2040 from Kumasi, Ghana:

The Kumasi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kian Gyan (7 - 4) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Salim Labi(59(3) - 20(4)) from Accra, Ghana.

Labi gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND SENDS GYAN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Gyan almost instantly recovers.

Gyan pivots from in front of his opponent, but Labi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Gyan steps away from his opponent and hits home with a stinging jab.  
Labi closes the distance.  Gyan pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gyan throws a right hook, but Labi ties up his opponent.  Gyan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Labi's kidney. 
Gyan pivots from in front of his opponent.  Gyan attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Labi's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Labi lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Gyan steps to the outside and lands a stinging cross.  
Gyan connects with a sharp cross.  
Gyan hits home with a cross.  
Labi is looking to close the distance.  Gyan pivots to the side of his opponent, but Labi lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Gyan steps to the outside.  Labi lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Labi closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Gyan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Labi lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Labi clinches his opponent.  Labi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Labi throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Labi to stop fouling.  
Gyan is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Labi's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
