The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Troup (33(3) - 8) who hails from New York City, USA and Joel Robie(1 - 2) from Oakland, USA.

Robie walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Troup lands a solid jab.  
Troup throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Robie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Troup lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Troup lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Troup tries to keep the action at long range and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Robie steps inside.  Troup is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Robie forces Troup to retreat onto the ropes.  Robie digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

Troup voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Robie accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Troup.  Robie lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Robie steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but Troup holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Robie pushes his forearm into Troup's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Robie about fouling.  
Robie sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Troup lands a right hook.
