Aoi Matsumura vs Salman Khalid

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/03/2040 from Fukuoka, Japan:

The Fukuoka venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Aoi Matsumura (20 - 29) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Salman Khalid(2 - 9) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  

Round 1: 

Khalid lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Matsumura throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Matsumura holds on to his opponent.  Matsumura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Matsumura.

Matsumura is looking to keep his distance.  Khalid attempts to land a jab, but Matsumura slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Matsumura quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Matsumura tries to step out of his opponents range.  Khalid is on target with a cross.  
Khalid advances into close range and drives a sharp right hook into Matsumura's ribcage.  
Khalid cuts off the ring, trapping Matsumura on the ropes.  Khalid pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Matsumura's body.  
Khalid lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Khalid is looking to close the distance and drives a right uppercut into Matsumura's body.
