Boxing Daily Report from the Bahamas National Finals 2040,  taking place on 14/03/2040 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Felix Wood (44(7) - 31) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and John Magnus(22 - 10(1)) from Nassau, Bahamas.

Wood manouvers Magnus into the red corner.  Wood lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Wood pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a telling right hook.  MAGNUS IS HURT!  Magnus quickly recovers.

Wood digs in a potent right hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE MAGNUS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Magnus recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Wood lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Wood stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Wood crashes a spiteful left uppercut to his opponents body.  MAGNUS IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT MAGNUS CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Wood!
