Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/03/2040 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daniel Magee (49(7) - 14) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Bruce Kerr(0 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Magee lands with a spiteful jab.

Magee manouvers Kerr onto the ropes.  Magee hits home with a solid left hook.  Magee clinches his opponent.  Magee is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Magee lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kerr quickly recovers.

Magee walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Magee lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Magee throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Magee and breaks the clinch.  
Magee digs in a stinging left uppercut to Kerr's liver.  Magee holds on to his opponent.  Magee tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kerr behind the head. Magee is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Magee's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Magee throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Magee lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Magee closes the distance and slams a hurtful left hook into Kerr's ribs.  KERR IS HURT!  Kerr recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
