Declan Sibayan vs Mike Javier

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/03/2040 from Cebu City, Philippines:

The Cebu City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Declan Sibayan (21 - 23) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and Mike Javier(14 - 17(1)) from Cebu City, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Javier switches the action to the outside.  Javier contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Sibayan is on target with a cross.  
Sibayan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Javier finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Javier closes the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Javier attempts to land a jab, but Sibayan sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Sibayan tries to step out of his opponents range.  Sibayan drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Javier lands a cross.
