Charlie Yeoman vs Mick Banks

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/02/2040 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Charlie Yeoman (63(2) - 10) who hails from Middlesbrough, UK and Mick Banks(1 - 4) from North Shore, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Banks drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Yeoman ties up his opponent.  Yeoman is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Yeoman lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Banks lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Yeoman ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Yeoman pushes his forearm into Banks's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Yeoman.  
Banks sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging jab.  
Yeoman gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Yeoman closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Banks tries to step out of his opponents range.  Yeoman lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Yeoman pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Yeoman pivots to the side of his opponent.  Banks throws a left hook, but Yeoman clinches his opponent.  Yeoman is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Yeoman throws a right uppercut, but is off-target.  Yeoman holds on to his opponent.  Yeoman pushes his forearm into Banks's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Yeoman about fouling.  
Banks connects with a right hook.  
Yeoman hits home with a solid right hook.  
Yeoman lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Yeoman sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Banks throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Banks is looking to keep his distance.  Yeoman attempts to land a cross, but Banks slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Banks finds the target with a jab.  
Banks throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Yeoman connects with a cross.  
Yeoman gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Yeoman walks Banks into the corner.  Yeoman connects with a stinging right hook.  
Yeoman lands a left uppercut.  
Yeoman connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Yeoman hits home with a left hook.  
Yeoman manouvers Banks into the corner.  Yeoman is on target with a left hook.  
Banks lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Yeoman walks Banks down, trapping him on the ropes.  Yeoman lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS BANKS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Yeoman holds on to his opponent.  Yeoman leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Banks throws a right hook, but Yeoman clinches his opponent.  Banks pushes his forearm into Yeoman's face.  The ref breaks Yeoman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Yeoman lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Yeoman throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Yeoman holds on to his opponent.  Yeoman leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Yeoman's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Banks's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Yeoman gets on the inside and crashes a mean right hook to Banks's ribs.  BANKS IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Yeoman lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Banks is on target with a right hook to Yeoman's body.  
Yeoman lands a jab.  
Yeoman hits home with a cross.  
Banks switches the action to the outside.  Yeoman hits home with a stinging cross.  
Yeoman is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Banks quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Yeoman advances into close range and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Yeoman drives a firm right hook into Banks's ribs.  BANKS IS HURT!  
Yeoman senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Banks and just needs the right shot.  Yeoman lands a right hook to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body, KNOCKING BANKS DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Yeoman!
