Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/01/2040 from Tamale, Ghana:

The Tamale venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Goro Kanai (19 - 20(1)) who hails from Asahikawa, Japan and Umair Qureshi(0 - 9) from Tamale, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Qureshi lands a left hook.  
Kanai steps inside and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.

Qureshi walks Kanai onto the ropes.  Qureshi is on target with a cross.

Kanai steps inside and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Kanai clinches his opponent.  Qureshi throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Qureshi about fouling.
