The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Maurice (46 - 6) who hails from Huntington Beach, USA and Jay Liddell(0 - 1) from Miami, USA.  

Round 1: 

Maurice is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Maurice closes the distance and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Maurice holds on to his opponent.  Liddell leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Liddell pushes his forearm into Maurice's face.  The referee warns Liddell and breaks the clinch.

Maurice hits home with a right hook.  Maurice clinches his opponent.  Maurice uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Liddell behind the head.

Liddell throws a right hook, but Maurice ties up his opponent.  Maurice pushes his forearm into Liddell's face.  The ref breaks Maurice's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Liddell quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Maurice hits home with a hard jab.
