Gennady Mucashev vs Sergei Vasiliev

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/01/2040 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gennady Mucashev (73(16) - 6) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Sergei Vasiliev(0 - 0) from Novosibirsk, Russia.  

Round 1: 

Vasiliev steps inside and throws a right hook, but Mucashev holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Mucashev's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mucashev lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Mucashev throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Vasiliev's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Mucashev pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mucashev lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Mucashev clinches his opponent.  Mucashev is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Mucashev and breaks the clinch.  
Vasiliev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Mucashev lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Mucashev could be enough to finish Vasiliev!  Mucashev digs in a powerful right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  VASILIEV IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like Vasiliev has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Mucashev lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Mucashev steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Vasiliev quickly recovers. 
Mucashev lands a firm left hook.  
Mucashev tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Mucashev lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mucashev cuts off the ring, trapping Vasiliev on the ropes.  Mucashev lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Mucashev lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mucashev lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Vasiliev connects with a left hook.  
Mucashev advances into close range and lands a WICKED left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE VASILIEV WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Vasiliev quickly recovers. 
Mucashev digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mucashev pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mucashev lands a left hook.  Mucashev clinches his opponent.  Mucashev leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mucashev lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
