Kazuki Shimizu vs Julek Staszak

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/12/2039 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kazuki Shimizu (26 - 7) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Julek Staszak(1 - 23(1)) from Vilnius, Lithuania.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Shimizu lands a right hook.  
Staszak closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Shimizu in a corner.  Staszak throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Staszak connects with a right uppercut.  
Staszak steps inside.  Staszak attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Shimizu to the neutral corner.  He warns Staszak that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.  
Shimizu steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Staszak steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Shimizu tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with an overhand left.  
Shimizu steps away from his opponent.  Shimizu feints a right hook, and then lands a jab.  
Staszak is looking to close the distance and manouvers Shimizu onto the ropes.  Shimizu throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shimizu's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Staszak lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Staszak lands an overhand right.  
Shimizu tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Shimizu lands a solid jab.  
Shimizu lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Shimizu steps to the outside.  Shimizu feints a right, and then hits home with a cross.  
Staszak is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Staszak sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Staszak steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Shimizu lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Staszak walks Shimizu onto the ropes.  Staszak is on target with a left hook.  
Staszak lands a cross.  
Staszak gets on the inside.  Shimizu digs in a left hook to Staszak's ribs.  
Staszak sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Shimizu is looking to keep his distance.  Shimizu lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Staszak lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Shimizu feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Staszak throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Shimizu ties up his opponent.  Shimizu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shimizu drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Shimizu steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Staszak closes the distance.  Staszak pivots to the left of his opponent, but Shimizu is on target with a left hook to Staszak's body.  
Shimizu lands a double jab to his opponents head.
