Santiago Abar vs Vicente Febus

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/12/2039 from El Paso, USA:

The El Paso venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Santiago Abar (22 - 11) who hails from Dallas, USA and Vicente Febus(2 - 15) from Coral Springs, USA.  

Round 1: 

Abar tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.

Febus gets on the inside and forces Abar to back into the ropes.  Febus lands a right hook.  
Febus steps inside.  Abar hits home with a right hook.  
Febus finds the target with a jab.  
Abar manages to force Febus onto the ropes.  Febus lands with a stiff jab.  
Abar tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.

Abar throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Febus to the neutral corner.  He warns Abar to stop fouling or he'll lose a point.  
Abar is on target with a right hook to Febus's body.  
Abar is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Febus is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Abar clinches his opponent.  Febus leans on his opponent using all his weight. Febus tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Abar behind the head. 
Abar advances into close range.  Abar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abar throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Abar clinches his opponent.  Abar leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
