Daniel Magee vs John Regas

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/12/2039 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Daniel Magee (45(6) - 14) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and John Regas(0 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Magee is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Regas pivots to the side of his opponent, but Magee lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Regas hits home with a cross.

Magee is looking to close the distance and manages to force Regas onto the ropes.  Magee lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Regas sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Magee is on target with a hard jab.

Magee manouvers Regas into a corner.  Magee is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.

Regas walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Magee lands a firm cross.  
Magee connects with a right hook.  
Magee steps inside.  Regas digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Regas lands a left uppercut.

Regas pivots from in front of his opponent, but Magee lands a right hook.  
Magee gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Magee lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND REGAS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Regas now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
