Ryo Kuramoto vs Roger Hillhouse

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 02/12/2039 from Auckland, New Zealand:

The Auckland venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ryo Kuramoto (5 - 8) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Roger Hillhouse(12 - 12(1)) from Auckland, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Hillhouse steps inside.  Hillhouse sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kuramoto is on target with a left uppercut to Hillhouse's body.  
Kuramoto steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kuramoto drives a right hook into Hillhouse's body.  
Hillhouse advances into close range and lands a left uppercut.  
Hillhouse pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook.  
Kuramoto steps to the outside and lands a stiff jab.  
Hillhouse lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Hillhouse throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Kuramoto steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hillhouse gets on the inside.  Hillhouse sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kuramoto hits home with a right hook.  
Hillhouse hits home with a right uppercut.  
Hillhouse digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Kuramoto switches the action to the outside.  Hillhouse attempts to land a jab, but Kuramoto dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hillhouse closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Kuramoto throws a left hook, but Hillhouse ties up his opponent.  Kuramoto is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Hillhouse's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hillhouse manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hillhouse lands a left hook.  
Hillhouse advances into close range and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  Hillhouse clinches his opponent.  Kuramoto pushes his forearm into Hillhouse's face.  The referee warns Kuramoto and breaks the clinch.  
Kuramoto steps away from his opponent.  Hillhouse lands an overhand right.  
Kuramoto steps away from his opponent.  Kuramoto feints a jab, and then strikes his opponents body with a jab.

Kuramoto throws a left hook, but Hillhouse clinches his opponent.  Kuramoto uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hillhouse's kidney. The referee warns Kuramoto and breaks the clinch.

Hillhouse lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hillhouse lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hillhouse lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Hillhouse quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kuramoto attempts to land a right uppercut, but Hillhouse slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
