Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/11/2039 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Platero (29 - 5) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Bohdan Wasil(0 - 1) from Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.  

Round 1: 

Platero retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Wasil is whaling away with hooks, but Platero keeps his defence tight.  
Platero is looking to close the distance and connects with a right uppercut.  
Wasil pivots from in front of his opponent.  Platero tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Wasil tries to land a cross, but Platero parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Wasil's ribs.  
Wasil throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Platero advances into close range and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  Platero attempts to land a left uppercut, but Wasil blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Platero gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut.  
Platero is on target with a left hook.  
Platero steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Wasil throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Wasil is looking to keep his distance.  Platero lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Platero steps inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Platero holds on to his opponent.  Platero is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Platero about fouling.
