Brendan Malwitz vs Amon McNiall

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/11/2039 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brendan Malwitz (25 - 4(1)) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Amon McNiall(1 - 1) from Philadelphia, USA.  

Round 1: 

McNiall gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Malwitz tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Malwitz switches the action to the outside.  McNiall lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Malwitz pivots to the left of his opponent, but McNiall hits home with a solid left hook.

Malwitz tries to land a right hook, but McNiall parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Malwitz lands with a ramrod jab.  
McNiall closes the distance.  Malwitz lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Malwitz hits home with a left hook.  
Malwitz switches the action to the outside.  McNiall lands a firm overhand right.  
Malwitz pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.

McNiall attempts to land an overhand right, but Malwitz blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Malwitz feints a left, and then lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Malwitz feints a right hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

McNiall throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Malwitz hits home with an overhand right.  
McNiall throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Malwitz holds on to his opponent.  McNiall hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns McNiall to stop fouling.  
Malwitz lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Malwitz is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand left.  
McNiall is on target with a cross.  
Malwitz lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McNiall hits home with a left hook.

McNiall throws a left hook, but Malwitz holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, McNiall pushes his forearm into Malwitz's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
