Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/11/2039 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Guillermo Abella (52(1) - 6) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Fernand Belcourt(1 - 1) from Liege, Belgium.  

Round 1: 

Abella lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Abella steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Abella digs in a right uppercut to Belcourt's ribcage.

Belcourt quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Belcourt tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Belcourt is looking to keep his distance.  Belcourt feints a right hook, and then strikes his opponents body with a cross.  Belcourt attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Abella's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Abella steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Abella lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Belcourt is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Abella lands with a sharp jab.

The ref separates the two fighters.  Abella throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Belcourt pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Abella gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Abella forces Belcourt to retreat into the corner.  Abella lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Abella holds on to his opponent.  Abella is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Abella hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Abella is on target with a right uppercut.  
Belcourt lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Abella gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Abella gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Abella holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Abella pushes his forearm into Belcourt's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.
