Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/10/2039 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam Coey (34(2) - 8) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Paul Ellis(1 - 0) from Huntington Beach, USA.  

Round 1: 

Ellis attempts to land a cross, but Coey dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.

Ellis connects with a stinging left hook.  Coey clinches his opponent.  Coey uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Ellis's kidney. Coey is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Ellis pivots to the side of his opponent.  Ellis throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Coey gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Coey clinches his opponent.  Ellis uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Coey behind the head. The ref breaks Coey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Coey attempts to land a left hook, but Ellis blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Coey cuts off the ring, trapping Ellis on the ropes.  Coey connects with a left hook.  Coey holds on to his opponent.  Ellis pushes his forearm into Coey's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Coey steps inside and is on target with a left hook to Ellis's ribs.  
Coey closes the distance.  Ellis tries to land a left hook, but Coey blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Coey drives a left uppercut into Ellis's ribs.  
Coey closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Coey connects with a left hook.  
Coey forces Ellis to back into a corner.  Coey lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Ellis's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Coey walks Ellis down, trapping him in a corner.  Coey hits home with a right uppercut.  
Coey lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Coey drives a potent right hook into Ellis's ribcage.  ELLIS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Coey senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Ellis and just needs the right shot.  Coey lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND ELLIS IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Ellis is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Coey!
