Joe Leishman vs Chris Kerrigan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/10/2039 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joe Leishman (78 - 10) who hails from Tallahassee, USA and Chris Kerrigan(0 - 7(1)) from Manchester, USA.  

Round 1: 

Leishman lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.

Kerrigan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Leishman digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kerrigan advances into close range.  Kerrigan pivots to the side of his opponent, but Leishman lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Leishman is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Leishman switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Leishman steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Kerrigan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Leishman is on target with a cross.  
Kerrigan pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Leishman steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Kerrigan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Leishman lands a firm cross.  Leishman throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Leishman's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Kerrigan is looking to close the distance.  Leishman lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Leishman steps to the outside.  Leishman feints a cross, and then lands two overhand right's to the head followed by a jab to the body.

Kerrigan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Leishman lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Leishman attempts to land a cross, but Kerrigan slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kerrigan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Leishman connects with a solid cross.  
Kerrigan pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kerrigan hits home with a cross.  Kerrigan attempts to land a jab, but Leishman blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Leishman is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Leishman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Leishman lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Leishman is looking to keep his distance.  Leishman feints a cross, but Kerrigan is not fooled and is on target with a left uppercut.

Leishman switches the action to the outside.  Leishman feints a jab and triggers a right hook counter from Kerrigan.  Leishman springs the trap and counters with  a right hook.  
Leishman feints a cross, but Kerrigan does not fall for it and responds with a right uppercut.  
Leishman is on target with a hurtful cross to Kerrigan's body.  DOWN GOES KERRIGAN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Leishman lands a cross.  
Leishman lands a jab.  
Leishman is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Kerrigan tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
