Connor Phaup vs Lucas Encarnacion

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/10/2039 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Connor Phaup (21 - 7) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and Lucas Encarnacion(2 - 12(2)) from Anaheim, USA.  

Round 1: 

Phaup switches the action to the outside and hits home with a sharp cross.  
Encarnacion advances into close range.  Phaup drives a right uppercut into Encarnacion's ribs.  
Encarnacion gets on the inside and walks Phaup down, trapping him on the ropes.  Encarnacion pivots to the side of his opponent.  Encarnacion tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Phaup steps to the outside and lands a jab.  
Phaup is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Phaup sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Encarnacion attempts to land an overhand left, but Phaup slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Encarnacion feints a jab, but Phaup ignores the feint and responds with a left uppercut.  
Encarnacion advances into close range.  Encarnacion pivots from in front of his opponent.  Encarnacion throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Phaup lands a jab, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Phaup hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Phaup lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Encarnacion gets on the inside.  Encarnacion pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
