Rodrigo Barragan vs Brendan Mujuru

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/10/2039 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Barragan (31 - 4) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Brendan Mujuru(1 - 7) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  

Round 1: 

Barragan advances into close range and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Barragan lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Mujuru lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Mujuru is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Barragan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mujuru drives a left hook into Barragan's body.  
Barragan gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Mujuru tries to land a cross, but Barragan sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Mujuru steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.

Mujuru steps away from his opponent.  Barragan throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Barragan lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Barragan gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Mujuru's ribs.  
Mujuru quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook to Barragan's ribs.  
Barragan lands a hard jab.  
Mujuru tries to keep the action at long range.  Barragan lands a jab.  
Barragan gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Barragan hits home with a cross.  
Mujuru lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
