Jiro Noda vs Macario Sotomayor

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/09/2039 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jiro Noda (26 - 22) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Macario Sotomayor(2 - 15) from Cartagena, Colombia.  

Round 1: 

Sotomayor finds the target with a jab.  
Sotomayor gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Noda lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Sotomayor tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Noda hits home with a stiff jab.  
Noda steps away from his opponent.  Noda sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sotomayor tries to land a jab, but Noda parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Noda lands with a ramrod jab.  
Noda lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Sotomayor gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Noda dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Noda switches the action to the outside.  Noda sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Noda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Noda is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Noda steps to the outside.  Sotomayor tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Noda attempts to land a cross, but Sotomayor slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Noda steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Noda steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Noda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Noda advances into close range.  Sotomayor digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Noda lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Noda tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.
