Andy Saul vs Turiau Huet

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/09/2039 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Andy Saul (82(16) - 11) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Turiau Huet(7 - 23(1)) from Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  

Round 1: 

Saul is looking to close the distance.  Saul sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Saul advances into close range.  Saul pivots from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Saul lands with a ramrod jab.  
Saul closes the distance.  Huet throws a left hook, but Saul clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Saul pushes his forearm into Huet's face.  The referee warns Saul and breaks the clinch.  
Saul manouvers Huet into the corner.  Saul lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Saul lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Saul is on target with a left hook to Huet's liver.  
Saul lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Saul throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Huet steps inside.  Saul lands a left hook.  
Saul lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Saul gets on the inside and lands a firm right uppercut.  
Saul connects with a right uppercut.  
Huet is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Saul is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Saul advances into close range.  Saul sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Saul drives a firm right hook into his opponents body.  Saul tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Saul advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  
Huet hits home with a right hook.  Saul ties up his opponent.  Saul leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Saul's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Saul lands a jab.  
Saul steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Saul hits home with a stinging left hook.  Saul clinches his opponent.  Huet uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Saul behind the head. As they grapple, Huet pushes his forearm into Saul's face.  The ref breaks Saul's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Saul attempts to land a right uppercut, but Huet blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Huet attempts to land a left hook, but Saul sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Saul lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Saul attempts to land a right hook, but Huet blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Saul is on target with a cross.  
Huet sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a solid left hook.  
Saul closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Saul lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Saul is looking to close the distance and connects with a nasty right hook.  HUET WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Saul senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Saul lands a cross, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS HUET TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Saul lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Huet now seems to have got his legs back.  
Saul gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Saul pivots to the side of his opponent.  Saul throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Saul ties up his opponent.  Saul leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Saul is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Saul to stop fouling.  
Saul lands a jab.  
Saul closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Saul clinches his opponent.  Saul uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Huet's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Saul to stop fouling.  Huet recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Huet is on target with a right hook.  
Saul closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Saul ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Saul advances into close range.  Saul is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Saul lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HUET IS DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Saul!
