Robert Eury vs Mark Mabon

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/08/2039 from Shreveport, USA:

The Shreveport venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Eury (64 - 2) who hails from Shreveport, USA and Mark Mabon(8 - 10(1)) from Waterbury, USA.  

Round 1: 

Eury forces Mabon to back into a neutral corner.  Eury lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Eury lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Eury lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Mabon hits the target with a sharp jab.  Mabon attempts to land a left hook, but Eury sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Eury gets on the inside.  Eury sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid right hook.  
Mabon pivots to the side of his opponent, but Eury lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Eury hits home with a right hook.  Eury clinches his opponent.  Eury pushes his forearm into Mabon's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Eury to stop fouling.  Eury attempts to land a left hook, but Mabon dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Eury steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Eury connects with a right hook.  Eury ties up his opponent.  Eury leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mabon throws a right hook, but Eury clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Eury pushes his forearm into Mabon's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Eury.  
Eury advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Eury gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Eury lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Eury pivots to the side of his opponent, but Mabon lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mabon steps to the outside.  Eury lands a cross.  
Eury lands with a stiff jab.  
Eury drives a right hook into Mabon's body.

Mabon digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Mabon attempts to land a left hook, but Eury blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Eury is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mabon finds the target with a jab.  
Eury is on target with an overhand left.  
Mabon manages to force Eury onto the ropes.  Eury hits home with a sharp cross.
