Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/07/2039 from Sheffield, UK:

The Sheffield venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Kelly (50 - 2) who hails from Norwich, UK and Eric McNish(4 - 3) from Glasgow, UK.  

Round 1:

McNish gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but Kelly ties up his opponent.  Kelly is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kelly.  
McNish is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Kelly clinches his opponent.  Kelly throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kelly to stop fouling.

McNish quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kelly goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives McNish time to recover.  
Kelly tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a sharp cross.  
McNish steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Kelly tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and an overhand right to the head.  
Kelly is on target with a jab.
