Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/07/2039 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Takeshi Seki (55 - 5) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Satoshi Tsukamoto(8 - 7) from Fukuyama, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Seki lands with a hard jab.  
Tsukamoto closes the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Seki sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Seki is looking to keep his distance.  Seki feints a cross, and then lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.

Tsukamoto is looking to close the distance.  Seki tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.

Tsukamoto hits the target with a sharp jab.  Tsukamoto attempts to land a jab, but Seki blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tsukamoto closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Tsukamoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Seki lands a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Seki's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Tsukamoto steps away from his opponent.  Tsukamoto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Seki pivots to the side of his opponent.  Seki hits home with a firm left hook.  Seki attempts to land a cross, but Tsukamoto blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tsukamoto closes the distance.  Tsukamoto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Seki throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Tsukamoto time to recover.  
Tsukamoto lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Seki clinches his opponent.  Seki leans on his opponent using all his weight. Tsukamoto throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Tsukamoto steps inside.  Tsukamoto pivots to the left of his opponent.  Seki lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Seki ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Tsukamoto pushes his forearm into Seki's face.  The referee warns Tsukamoto and breaks the clinch.
