Felix Wood vs Carl Sellen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/06/2039 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Felix Wood (38(6) - 24) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Carl Sellen(18 - 12) from Malmo, Sweden.  

Round 1: 

Sellen sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wood throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Wood ties up his opponent.  Sellen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Wood lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Sellen walks Wood down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sellen lands a right uppercut to the body, a jab to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Sellen lands a stinging cross.  
Wood connects with an overhand right.  
Sellen gets on the inside.  Wood hits home with a left hook.  
Sellen is looking to keep the action on the outside and tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.

Wood is looking to close the distance.  Sellen connects with a sharp right hook.  Wood holds on to his opponent.  Wood leans on his opponent using all his weight. Wood is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Wood switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Wood drives a right hook into Sellen's body.  
Wood lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Wood steps to the outside.  Wood sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Wood attempts to land a jab, but Sellen sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Sellen gets on the inside.  Wood is on target with a firm left hook to Sellen's body.  
Wood tries to keep the action at long range and lands a solid cross.  
Wood lands a straight 1 - 2.

Wood switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Sellen steps inside.  Sellen pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Sellen lands with a hard jab.  
Wood drives a left uppercut into Sellen's body.  
Wood is on target with a sharp cross.  
Wood is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Wood lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Sellen lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  Sellen tries to land a jab, but Wood sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sellen pivots to the right of his opponent, but Wood lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sellen sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Sellen pivots to the left of his opponent.  Sellen throws a left hook, but Wood clinches his opponent.  Wood tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sellen behind the head. 
Wood quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Sellen finds the target with a jab.  
Wood is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!

Sellen cuts off the ring, trapping Wood on the ropes.  Sellen digs in a firm right hook to Wood's body.  
Wood lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Wood knows Sellen is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Wood lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS SELLEN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Sellen now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Wood steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Sellen steps inside.  Sellen pivots to the left of his opponent, but Wood crashes a spiteful left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE SELLEN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Sellen almost instantly recovers.
