Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/06/2039 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ian Wham (20 - 6) who hails from Cape Coral, USA and Mike Lovitt(1 - 8) from Baton Rouge, USA.  

Round 1: 

Lovitt steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  Lovitt attempts to land a jab, but Wham blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Wham lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Wham steps inside.  Wham quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Wham gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Lovitt switches the action to the outside and connects with a solid overhand left.  
Lovitt drives a left uppercut into Wham's liver.  
Wham closes the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  
Wham is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Lovitt tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Lovitt pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to Wham's body.  
Wham connects with a cross.  
Wham steps inside.  Wham pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid right uppercut.  
Wham lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Wham clinches his opponent.  Wham is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wham is on target with a sharp left hook to Lovitt's body.  
Wham lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Wham advances into close range.  Wham sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Wham drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.

Lovitt steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Wham is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to Lovitt's body.  
Wham lands a left hook followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Lovitt switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Wham slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Wham forces Lovitt to back into a corner.  Wham hits home with a right uppercut.  
Lovitt connects with a left hook.  
Lovitt pivots to the right of his opponent.  Lovitt attempts to land a jab, but Wham blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
