Kazuki Shimizu vs Iwao Inouye

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/06/2039 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kazuki Shimizu (19 - 7) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Iwao Inouye(3 - 12) from Kyoto, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Inouye is on target with a cross.  
Inouye gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Shimizu digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Shimizu tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Shimizu is on target with an overhand left.  Shimizu attempts to land a cross, but Inouye sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Inouye closes the distance and connects with a left uppercut.  
Inouye closes the distance and manouvers Shimizu onto the ropes.  Shimizu connects with a sharp right hook.  
Inouye lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Shimizu switches the action to the outside and hits home with a solid cross.  
Inouye gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Inouye tries to land a left uppercut, but Shimizu sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Shimizu lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Inouye gets on the inside and forces Shimizu to back into the ropes.  Shimizu is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  
Shimizu tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Inouye gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Inouye connects with a cross.  
Inouye steps inside.  Shimizu tries to land a left hook, but Inouye sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shimizu's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Inouye gets on the inside and walks Shimizu into a corner.  Inouye is on target with a right uppercut.

Inouye tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Shimizu attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Inouye's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Shimizu is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Shimizu sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.
