Nicandro Galvan vs Javier Amaya

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/06/2039 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Nicandro Galvan (43 - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Javier Amaya(6 - 9) from Mexico City, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Galvan drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.

Galvan is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Galvan feints a jab, tricking Amaya into countering with a right uppercut.  Galvan springs the trap and counters with  a solid right uppercut.

Amaya walks Galvan down, trapping him on the ropes.  Amaya hits home with a left hook.  
Galvan lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Amaya throws a left hook, but Galvan ties up his opponent.  Galvan uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Amaya behind the head. The referee warns Galvan and breaks the clinch.
