Robert Eury vs Antonio Cerrato

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/05/2039 from Shreveport, USA:

The Shreveport venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Robert Eury (60 - 2) who hails from Shreveport, USA and Antonio Cerrato(9 - 15) from Maipu, Chile.  

Round 1: 

Cerrato advances into close range.  Cerrato pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cerrato throws a left hook, but Eury ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Eury pushes his forearm into Cerrato's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Eury contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Cerrato attempts to land a jab, but Eury sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Eury tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a solid jab.  
Eury lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Eury lands with a sharp jab.  
Eury switches the action to the outside.  Eury quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cerrato tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Eury is looking to keep his distance and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Cerrato lands a right uppercut.  
Eury lands a jab to Cerrato's body.

Cerrato gets on the inside and walks Eury down, trapping him on the ropes.  Eury throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Eury clinches his opponent.  Cerrato leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Eury's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cerrato closes the distance.  Cerrato pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cerrato throws a left hook, but Eury clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Eury pushes his forearm into Cerrato's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Eury to stop fouling.
