Verrier Caron vs Bonar Girardot

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/05/2039 from Montreal, Canada:

The Montreal venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Verrier Caron (18 - 12) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Bonar Girardot(1 - 0) from Quebec City, Canada.  

Round 1:

Girardot throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Caron steps to the outside and lands an overhand left.  Caron tries to land a cross, but Girardot sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Caron's body.  
Girardot walks Caron into the corner.  Caron connects with a solid cross.  
Caron drives a solid left hook into Girardot's ribs.  
Caron hits home with a left uppercut.  
Girardot steps inside and throws a right hook, but Caron ties up his opponent.  Girardot pushes his forearm into Caron's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Girardot to stop fouling.  
Caron steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Caron throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Caron steps to the outside.  Girardot lands a stinging cross.  
Caron gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Girardot slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Girardot lands a solid left uppercut.  Caron ties up his opponent.  Girardot uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Caron behind the head. Caron is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Caron about fouling.  
Caron gets on the inside.  Girardot digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.
