Shinji Hayakawa vs Ronan McRay

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/05/2039 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shinji Hayakawa (36(3) - 9) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Ronan McRay(2 - 4) from Belfast, UK.  

Round 1:

Hayakawa closes the distance.  McRay throws a right hook, but Hayakawa clinches his opponent.  Hayakawa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Hayakawa pushes his forearm into McRay's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hayakawa about fouling.  
Hayakawa lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hayakawa manages to force McRay onto the ropes.  Hayakawa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McRay throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Hayakawa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hayakawa is looking to close the distance.  McRay digs in a left uppercut to Hayakawa's body.  
Hayakawa connects with a stinging right hook.
