Jamie Oliphant vs Jay Howell

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/04/2039 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jamie Oliphant (35 - 9) who hails from Huntington Beach, USA and Jay Howell(2 - 23) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Oliphant steps inside.  Oliphant pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Oliphant sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.

Oliphant gets on the inside.  Oliphant lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Howell feints a cross and triggers a left uppercut counter from Oliphant.  Howell springs the trap and counters with  a cross.  
Oliphant attempts to land a right hook, but Howell slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Oliphant digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Oliphant attempts to land a right hook, but Howell blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Howell switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Oliphant advances into close range and manages to force Howell onto the ropes.  Oliphant pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Oliphant pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Oliphant hits home with a right uppercut.  
Oliphant pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Oliphant lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Oliphant lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Howell is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left.  
Oliphant closes the distance.  Oliphant sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right uppercut to Howell's body.
