Latif Zakaria vs Zeynal Shafi

Boxing Daily Report from the Uzbekistan National Finals 2039,  taking place on 26/04/2039 from Toshkent, Uzbekistan:

The Toshkent venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Latif Zakaria (0 - 2) who hails from Toshkent, Uzbekistan and Zeynal Shafi(37(8) - 9(1)) from Namangan, Uzbekistan.  

Round 1: 

Zakaria sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Shafi lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Shafi closes the distance.  Shafi pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Shafi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Zakaria almost instantly recovers. 
Shafi walks Zakaria into the corner.  Shafi lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Shafi sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Zakaria lands with a ramrod jab.  
Shafi steps inside.  Shafi pivots to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Shafi is looking to close the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Zakaria tries to land a right uppercut, but Shafi blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shafi digs in a right hook to Zakaria's body.  
Shafi is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Shafi digs in a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  Shafi attempts to land a left hook, but Zakaria parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Shafi retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Zakaria tries to tag Shafi on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Shafi gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Shafi lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Zakaria quickly recovers. 
Shafi is on target with a jab.  
Zakaria switches the action to the outside.  Zakaria throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Shafi time to recover.  
Zakaria advances into close range.  Shafi is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Shafi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zakaria hits home with a sharp cross.  
Shafi is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Shafi lands with a ramrod jab.  
Shafi steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Shafi lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Zakaria switches the action to the outside and is on target with a stinging overhand left.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shafi's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Zakaria steps inside and tries to land a left uppercut, but Shafi sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shafi lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Zakaria quickly recovers. 
Shafi lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Zakaria could be stopped here, if Shafi can find the right shot!  Shafi lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES ZAKARIA!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Shafi!
