Diego Freitas vs Juan Sola

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/04/2039 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Freitas (24 - 9) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Juan Sola(0 - 6) from Manaus, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Freitas steps to the outside and snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Freitas is on target with a jab.  
Sola attempts to land a cross, but Freitas slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Sola sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sola hits home with a cross.  Sola throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sola is looking to keep his distance.  Freitas feints a left hook, and then snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  
Freitas lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Freitas is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Freitas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sola sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Freitas lands a spiteful jab.  
Freitas lands a solid overhand right.  
Sola lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Sola manouvers Freitas onto the ropes.  Sola sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Freitas digs in a right hook to Sola's ribcage.  
Sola pivots from in front of his opponent, but Freitas connects with a cross.  
Freitas tries to keep the action at long range.  Freitas lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Sola tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sola manouvers Freitas onto the ropes.  Sola pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Freitas's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Freitas lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Freitas hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Sola finds the target with a jab.  
Sola sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Sola throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Freitas gets on the inside.  Freitas pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Freitas hits home with a firm left hook.  
Freitas steps inside and hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Freitas advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Freitas lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Freitas lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  Freitas ties up his opponent.  Freitas pushes his forearm into Sola's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Freitas to stop fouling.  
Freitas advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Freitas connects with a left uppercut.  
Freitas lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Freitas is looking to close the distance and throws a left uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  Freitas ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Freitas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Freitas steps to the outside.  Freitas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
Freitas closes the distance.  Sola throws a right uppercut, but Freitas ties up his opponent.  Sola is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Sola pushes his forearm into Freitas's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sola about fouling.  
Freitas cuts off the ring, trapping Sola on the ropes.  Freitas lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Freitas is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Freitas steps inside and lands a left uppercut.  
Freitas is looking to close the distance.  Sola throws a left hook, but Freitas holds on to his opponent.  Freitas uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sola behind the head. 
Sola lands a jab to Freitas's body.
