Ian Gwynn vs Paul Din

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/04/2039 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ian Gwynn (55 - 8) who hails from Sacremento, USA and Paul Din(2 - 4) from Anchorage, USA.  

Round 1: 

Gwynn throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Din's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Gwynn closes the distance.  Din hits home with a right hook.  
Gwynn is looking to keep his distance and lands two jab's to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Gwynn closes the distance and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Gwynn stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Din tries to land a jab, but Gwynn slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gwynn digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.

Gwynn sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Din throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Gwynn lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Gwynn throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Din time to recover.  
Gwynn digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.

Gwynn steps to the outside.  Din lands a jab.  
Gwynn walks Din down, trapping him in the corner.  Gwynn drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Gwynn is on target with a firm right hook to Din's ribs.  
Gwynn connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Gwynn lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Gwynn is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Gwynn switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Din throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gwynn advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gwynn closes the distance and manages to force Din onto the ropes.  Gwynn pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Din throws a right uppercut, but Gwynn ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Din pushes his forearm into Gwynn's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Din about fouling.  
Din tries to land a left hook, but Gwynn blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Gwynn lands a left hook.  
Gwynn manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Gwynn throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Gwynn clinches his opponent.  Din leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gwynn advances into close range.  Din connects with a left uppercut.  
Gwynn lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Gwynn ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Gwynn's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Din's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
