Beltran Loya vs Ovidio Sahagun

Boxing Daily Report from the Puerto Rico National Finals 2039,  taking place on 11/04/2039 from Carolina, Puerto Rico:

The Carolina venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Beltran Loya (6 - 5) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Ovidio Sahagun(21(10) - 14) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Loya throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Loya attempts to land a cross, but Sahagun sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sahagun is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Loya switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
Sahagun steps inside and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Loya is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Sahagun sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut to Loya's ribcage.  
Sahagun is looking to close the distance and drives a firm left uppercut into Loya's ribs.  
Sahagun is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Sahagun pivots from in front of his opponent, but Loya is on target with a left hook.  
Loya throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Sahagun clinches his opponent.  Sahagun leans on his opponent using all his weight. Loya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Loya and breaks the clinch.  
Sahagun lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sahagun ties up his opponent.  Sahagun pushes his forearm into Loya's face.  The ref breaks Sahagun's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sahagun digs in a sharp left hook to Loya's body.  
Loya steps away from his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Loya throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Sahagun gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Loya quickly recovers. 
Sahagun steps inside and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Sahagun lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND DROPS LOYA!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Sahagun!
