Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2039,  taking place on 11/04/2039 from Manukau, New Zealand:

The Manukau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Arran Lin (2 - 14) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Harry Neel(7 - 20) from Hamilton, New Zealand.

Lin steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Neel sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Lin connects with a left hook.  
Neel is on target with a right uppercut.  
Lin steps inside.  Neel drives a stinging right hook into Lin's body.  
Neel steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  Neel attempts to land a right hook, but Lin blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Neel finds the target with a jab.  
Neel manouvers Lin onto the ropes.  Neel digs in a sharp left hook to Lin's ribs.  
Neel hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Lin steps to the outside.  Neel is on target with an overhand left.

Neel steps inside and connects with a right hook.  
Neel forces Lin to retreat onto the ropes.  Neel hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Neel throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Neel ties up his opponent.  Neel leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
