Justin Borges vs John Peebles

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 11/04/2039 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Justin Borges (3 - 3) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and John Peebles(1 - 2) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Borges finds the target with a jab.  
Borges switches the action to the outside.  Borges contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Peebles is on target with a jab to Borges's body.  
Borges sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Peebles connects with a cross.

Borges steps to the outside.  Borges sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Peebles hits home with a cross.  
Borges sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging overhand right.

Peebles gets on the inside.  Peebles quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Peebles throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.

Borges switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Peebles is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Borges lands a left hook.  
Peebles sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Borges lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Borges lands a stinging left hook.

Peebles attempts to land a jab, but Borges sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Borges steps to the outside.  Peebles attempts to land a jab, but Borges sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Peebles steps to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Borges dodges the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Peebles manouvers Borges onto the ropes.  Peebles pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Peebles lands a jab.  
Peebles closes the distance.  Peebles pivots to the left of his opponent and attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Borges's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Peebles pivots to the side of his opponent.  Peebles tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Peebles sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Borges steps to the outside.  Borges quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Peebles throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Peebles steps inside and drives a left hook into Borges's body.
