Hajime Ito vs Ryuu Ueda

Boxing Daily Report from the Japan National Finals 2039,  taking place on 29/03/2039 from Hirakata, Japan:

The Hirakata venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hajime Ito (54(1) - 11(1)) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Ryuu Ueda(17 - 15) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Ito gets on the inside.  Ito pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Ueda's body.

Ito gets on the inside.  Ito pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.

Ito pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Ito walks Ueda down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ito pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Ueda quickly recovers. 
Ueda tries to land a jab, but Ito slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut to Ueda's ribs.  
Ito hits home with a right hook.  
Ito gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Ito holds on to his opponent.  Ito is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ito lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Ito clinches his opponent.  Ito tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ueda behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ito about fouling.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ito's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
