Colombo Trivelli vs Vito Sossi

Boxing Daily Report from the Italy National Finals 2039,  taking place on 26/03/2039 from Sassari, Italy:

The Sassari venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Colombo Trivelli (19(4) - 5) who hails from Catania, Italy and Vito Sossi(9 - 12) from Genoa, Italy.  

Round 1: 

Trivelli connects with a sharp left hook.  Trivelli holds on to his opponent.  Trivelli leans on his opponent using all his weight. Trivelli is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Trivelli and breaks the clinch.  
Trivelli tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Trivelli gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Trivelli steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Trivelli holds on to his opponent.  Sossi pushes his forearm into Trivelli's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Trivelli is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING SOSSI TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Trivelli ties up his opponent.  Trivelli is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Trivelli uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sossi's kidney. The ref breaks Trivelli's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Sossi quickly recovers. 
Trivelli is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Sossi's body.  
Sossi pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Trivelli advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to Sossi's body.  
Trivelli lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Trivelli walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Trivelli whips in a nasty right hook to Sossi's ribs.  SOSSI IS HURT!  Sossi quickly recovers. 
Sossi throws a left hook, but Trivelli holds on to his opponent.  Trivelli tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sossi's kidney. Trivelli leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sossi throws a right uppercut, but Trivelli holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Trivelli digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Sossi sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Trivelli lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Sossi almost instantly recovers. 
Trivelli is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Sossi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Trivelli lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Trivelli forces Sossi to back into the ropes.  Trivelli stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Trivelli lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND SOSSI IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Sossi now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Trivelli lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sossi recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Sossi pivots to the left of his opponent, but Trivelli slams a nasty left hook into Sossi's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE SOSSI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Sossi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Trivelli steps inside.  Sossi throws a right hook, but Trivelli clinches his opponent.  Sossi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Sossi and breaks the clinch.  
Trivelli hits home with a sharp jab.  
Trivelli steps inside and digs in a stinging right hook to Sossi's ribs.  
Trivelli lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Trivelli could be enough to finish Sossi!  Trivelli drives a forceful left uppercut into Sossi's liver.  SOSSI IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Sossi has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Sossi steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Trivelli manages to force Sossi into the corner.  Trivelli lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Trivelli lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Trivelli lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trivelli lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Trivelli lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Trivelli holds on to his opponent.  Trivelli is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Trivelli crashes a hurtful right hook to his opponents body.  SOSSI IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Trivelli!
