Zernebog Abilew vs Genjo Kook

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/03/2039 from Dushanbe, Tajikistan:

The Dushanbe venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Zernebog Abilew (19 - 6) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Genjo Kook(0 - 5(1)) from Quanzhou, China.  

Round 1: 

Abilew lands a hard jab.  
Kook tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a stiff jab.  
Kook pivots to the right of his opponent, but Abilew hits home with a cross.

Abilew is looking to close the distance.  Abilew pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Abilew lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Abilew walks his opponent into a neutral corner.  Abilew connects with a right hook.  
Kook is on target with a right uppercut.  
Abilew drives a right hook into Kook's body.

Kook attempts to land a jab, but Abilew slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kook lands a solid jab.  
Abilew lands a solid jab.  
Abilew gets on the inside.  Kook lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Abilew clinches his opponent.  Abilew tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kook behind the head. Kook is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kook about fouling.  
Abilew lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Abilew gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Abilew walks Kook down, trapping him in a corner.  Abilew lands a left hook.  
Abilew walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Abilew throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Kook throws a right hook, but Abilew ties up his opponent.  Abilew tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kook's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Abilew.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kook's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
