Boxing Daily Report from the Cuba National Finals 2039,  taking place on 11/03/2039 from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba:

The Santiago de Cuba venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jose Lujano (15 - 16) who hails from Camaguey, Cuba and Quito Marcelo(3 - 3) from Camaguey, Cuba.

Marcelo steps to the outside and is on target with a sharp overhand right.  
Marcelo tries to keep the action at long range and throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lujano sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lujano connects with a right hook.  
Lujano closes the distance and throws a right hook, but is not on target.  Lujano clinches his opponent.  Lujano is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Lujano's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Marcelo throws a right uppercut, but Lujano holds on to his opponent.  Lujano pushes his forearm into Marcelo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lujano to stop fouling.

Marcelo switches the action to the outside and drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.
