Ryo Miyahira vs Phang Truc

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/01/2039 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ryo Miyahira (39(2) - 3) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Phang Truc(5 - 10(1)) from Hanoi, Vietnam.  

Round 1: 

Miyahira steps inside and lands a left hook.  
Truc quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Truc throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Truc's body.

Truc throws a left hook, but Miyahira ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Truc pushes his forearm into Miyahira's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Truc about fouling.

Miyahira lands a left hook.  
Miyahira lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Miyahira lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Miyahira throws a left uppercut, but is not on target.  Miyahira clinches his opponent.  Miyahira is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Miyahira.  
Miyahira lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Truc switches the action to the outside.  Miyahira lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Miyahira finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Miyahira is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Miyahira clinches his opponent.  Truc is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Truc is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Miyahira lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Miyahira lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS TRUC DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Miyahira!
